Xiao Qiao Smart Treadmill Trial Report
Thanks to the Codoon Review Room for selecting me as a tester after a rigorous screening process. (Actually, I just got really lucky!)
In the morning, I received a call from the SF Express delivery guy saying I had a package. I was wondering what it was when he mentioned it seemed to be a treadmill. I was shocked at that moment. Codoon is really generous; sending such a large item via SF Express. The package was about the size of a 60-inch flat-screen TV!
The packaging was simple but sturdy. Upon opening, all the parts and accessories were clearly visible: a power cord, a safety lock clip, a manual, a warranty card, a certificate of quality, and a treadmill maintenance kit (including a screwdriver, an L-shaped wrench, a socket wrench, and gear lubricant). The treadmill is fully assembled, which is fantastic for most girls! Facing a pile of parts and dozens of pages of installation instructions would be overwhelming for most girls. Of course, this is both an advantage and a disadvantage. I found the manual too simple; for example, it took me a long time to figure out how to adjust the treadmill belt's alignment and the incline. (Maybe I'm just not very bright = =#Hehe) I still suggest making the manual a bit more detailed!
This is how it looks when taken out of the box and folded. I can easily stand it up on one side without much effort!
I have to give a thumbs up for this!
It's very light, and when folded, it's as thick as a door, taking up no space when leaned against a wall. It's perfect for small spaces! It's also easy to move; I can effortlessly move it from one room to another, feeling quite strong!
The handrail frame folds via screws on both sides. When we need to use it for running, we just loosen the screws on both sides, straighten the frame by hand, and then tighten the screws. Then we can start running.
I measured the running belt, and its dimensions are 104cm by 40cm. For girls, the belt is not too narrow; it's quite suitable and comfortable to run on.
The simplest design feature of the treadmill is the display screen. Unlike gym treadmills with numerous confusing buttons, it only has the essential start/pause button, speed + and - buttons, mode button, and a Bluetooth icon. It's straightforward, and the modes are adjustable: time mode, distance mode, and calorie mode. You choose a mode, set a target, and complete it with a clear goal! This helps motivate me to complete my daily goals, haha!
The semi-metal handrails on both sides are used to measure the user's heart rate. By holding the heart rate sensors, we can effectively monitor our exercise intensity in real-time, helping us burn fat more efficiently! Above the display screen, there's a holder for a phone or tablet, which is super convenient! Now I don't have to choose between watching shows and running; I can do both at the same time! Watching my favorite stars while running gives me so much motivation!
On the left side of the display screen, there's aUSB port, which I haven't tried yet, but it seems to be for charging a phone or tablet. This way, running won't be interrupted by a dead battery, ensuring you have no excuse to stop running!
Do you see the Bluetooth icon with the little white dot? This is my favorite feature of the treadmill; it can connect to Bluetooth!
By connecting to Bluetooth, real-time data can be fully synced to a phone or tablet. You can even download some apps to control the treadmill via your phone or tablet, which is super cool! (PS: One suggestion, and the most frustrating part: why can't Codoon connect to the Xiao Qiao treadmill? Not being able to connect to Codoon is so disappointing! It feels meaningless without it!!!)
There's a safety magnet on the bottom right corner of the screen. For safety, clip one end to your clothes while running to prevent falling off the treadmill and causing secondary injuries, avoiding becoming a funny video star.
The treadmill's maximum speed is 8 km/h. I'm not sure if it's because of the built-in incline, but while I usually run at a speed of 9 on gym treadmills for 10 km, running at 8 on the Xiao Qiao treadmill feels quite challenging.
Regarding noise, the Xiao Qiao treadmill only makes the sound of feet hitting the belt when running. The motor noise is minimal, making the exercise experience relatively quiet. There seem to be rubber-like shock absorbers at the bottom, so there's no need to worry about disturbing downstairs neighbors.
Finally, I hope Xiao Qiao can help me achieve a perfect body!
