Eddie Peng's 'girlfriend' is the Venge, an aerodynamic road bike designed for flat terrain by the renowned American sports bicycle brand Specialized (commonly known as 'Lightning' in China due to the appearance of its head logo). Eddie Peng's Specialized Venge is a special edition launched by 'Lightning' for the current star of professional cycling, Slovakian Peter Sagan.

Compared to straight handlebars, drop handlebars offer greater comfort during rides. Combining drop handlebars with road bike handlebars is a new design trend in recent years.

The wheelset of the bike comes from Specialized's in-house parts brand Roval, specifically the CLX series, with the model being CLX 50 (rim height 50mm). Eddie Peng uses the black/gold color scheme version of the Roval CLX50 LTD, which is a limited edition with very few units produced.

The tires on the bike are Specialized S-Works Turbo Gripton tubular tires.

Unlike Peter Sagan's Venge, which is equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting/transmission components, Eddie Peng's Venge uses the SRAM Red eTap wireless electronic shifting system from the American company SRAM. The wireless design eliminates two shifting cables, making the bike look cleaner and reducing its weight.

This Venge model features disc brakes, and Eddie Peng chose SRAM's top-tier Red HRD hydraulic brakes for the bike's braking system.
