The hard paper packaging shoe box has a large brand logo and 'ONE DEGREE BEYOND' clearly visible at the bottom right corner. The shoe box was slightly deformed during transportation, but it did not affect the treasures inside at all.
Due to the holiday and visiting relatives, I didn't see my 'champion shoes' immediately. I was already eager to see these champion running shoes. Opening the shoe box, the black/rum color combination appeared particularly steady. The first impression of the shoes was high appearance and lightness. Four│Detail Highlights
This running shoe was selected as one of the 20 coolest shoe models by the American magazine 'Women's Health' in 2016. BIO-SPEED translates to biological speed in Chinese and belongs to the racing category of running shoes. This shoe follows the 'international line,' with the brand logo simplified from the previous three digits '361' to a single digit '3' to distinguish between regular running shoes and international line running shoes.
Toe: Made of synthetic leather material and extended outsole for dual protection, effectively preventing toe injuries during exercise.
Upper: The lightweight upper paired with rich texture design, the entire upper uses seamless fusion technology, improving breathability while also being stylish.
Laces: Solid flat laces can prevent loosening during exercise. The lace design is cleverly integrated into the overall shoe design. Personally, I think the lace length is slightly short; adding 5cm would be better.
Interior: The thickness of the shoe collar lining is moderate, with strong wrapping. The interior uses double-thread stitching to improve the stability of the running shoes, allowing for worry-free running.
Insole: The insole is made of QU!KFOAM material, designed according to the human foot arch. The back of the insole has several dispersed small holes, enhancing breathability while ensuring the shoe's elasticity and comfort.
Heel: The dot decoration is reflective to improve safety during night runs, which is crucial for night runners. PS: Don't think that having reflective strips means you can run freely; always pay attention to safety during night runs!
Outsole: The lifespan of the shoe depends on the outsole. Made of rubber material, it improves wear resistance. After several tests, the wear degree is negligible. I believe the lifespan will not be short.
Midsole: I believe the midsole is the core of a shoe. The prominent QU!KFOAM material is full of technological sense. QU!KFOAM mainly refers to the midsole technology. According to the official website, the midsole surface is covered with a special and stretchable film that can lock in air and provide better and longer-lasting cushioning and acceleration due to the instability caused by external temperature and pressure.
Five│Dynamic Testing
Test One: Participated in a 5km test run organized by the city running association at the engineering college track. The grip on the plastic track was fully demonstrated. The shoe weighs only 226g, which is acceptable. Because it is light, it is easy to speed up.
Test Two: The outdoor temperature is low in the early morning of autumn in Northeast China. Running 10km in the morning, you can clearly feel the 'autumn wind blowing on your feet.' The breathability is commendable, and it will be tested in hot weather in summer.
Test Three: To evaluate a pair of running shoes, try long-distance running. A half-marathon LSD in the morning, after the first two runs, fully adapted to the new shoes, no blisters, and feet remained dry after the run.
Six│Comprehensive Evaluation
Many people may still have 'prejudices' against 361°, but I want to say that the 'international line' products have changed my mind. Through this review, I have become a fan and will prioritize 361° international line products when choosing running shoes in the future.
Through several 5k, 10k, and 21k tests, the shoes demonstrated excellent grip on plastic tracks, cement roads, and asphalt roads. The breathable mesh kept the feet dry throughout, providing a comfortable experience for runners. The shoes are slightly small, so runners with wider feet are advised to choose half a size or one size larger than usual. For 400 yuan, you can get the same running shoes as the champion, which is truly value for money. Wear champion running shoes and fulfill your champion dreams!
