dabo: xian fulfill my long awaited full marathon

Xi'an, historically known as Chang'an, is a significant birthplace of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation. This ancient city, with its long history, is marked by many labels and has many historical traces left behind.

This was the only training session in the week leading up to the Xi'an Marathon.

A 5-kilometer jog around the track, my friends were anxious and worried about my leg injury and my condition. However, I knew in my heart that since I had decided to go, I would definitely finish the race.

The day before the race, I arrived at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park to pick up my race materials. Even before seeing the crowd, I could hear the noise. A long queue had formed in front of the Midea booth, and after collecting their race packs, participants were lining up to test their number chips.

Miss E60803 looked beautiful.

I was very happy to share some pre-run warm-up and post-run stretching experiences with fellow runners. Many friends were determined to achieve a personal best (PB) at the Xi'an Marathon and asked me how to run faster and better. In fact, the results you get depend on where you focus your efforts and how much you put in. If you want to run faster and better, there are no shortcuts other than consistent effort.

During the Q&A session, I answered questions from friends, sharing easily and happily as if chatting with friends. Meeting new friends is truly a joyful thing. Even with the continuous rain and cool breeze, we didn't feel cold while doing simple stretching exercises together.

Emphasize pre-race warm-ups and post-race stretches. Let's all do our best on the Xi'an Marathon course! 💪🏻

Finally, the day of the official race arrived. Although it was still early, the streets were already bustling with marathon runners in blue race uniforms. First, I met up with friends from the Bear Xiaomei Running Group, and under the guidance of marathon champion Wu Min, we did our warm-ups.

Not only were the friends from the Bear Xiaomei Running Group warming up, but the surrounding runners also joined in.

The official pacer lineup for the Xi'an Marathon was impressive, with all handsome men and beautiful women, very pleasing to the eye.

The race started punctually at 7:30 in the morning, with 30,000 people starting simultaneously at that moment.

I followed the crowd, slowly running and moving forward.

Running on the streets of Xi'an, there were no vehicles on the roads and no traffic lights to stop us. It felt as if Chang'an Street belonged only to us running enthusiasts at that moment. This was our festival, grand and lively like the New Year. We enjoyed every minute on the course, freely sweating and running joyfully.

We ran past the city wall, through the streets, up the slopes, and finally back to Daming Palace. Cheers, music, and shouts blended together. The finish line was ahead, and crossing the timing mat under the arch meant success. Congratulations on finishing the race, and congratulations to all friends for completing the race successfully. We ran the Xi'an Marathon, so where will the next race be?

The finisher's medal was exquisite and beautiful. Owning a Xi'an Marathon finisher's medal made me very satisfied!
