The Zhengkai Marathon has always been known for its flat course and the potential for achieving good results. Who would have thought that this year's Zhengkai Marathon would play the love card? This really caught me off guard.
1. Love Elements
First, in the 5KM event, there is the regular couples run. This new playstyle, which is very popular among young runners, adds an intimate element to the race. I can't help but imagine 'I just want to hold your hand and never let go, can love keep running without sorrow,' which is truly touching.
Secondly, the 5KM event in Zhengkai has added a 'matchmaking run.' This matchmaking marathon is specially designed to meet the dating needs of single young men and women in society. Any single person can participate. Runners can not only showcase their athletic talents while running but also date and chat with the opposite sex. The idea that running can solve lifelong matters is truly exciting.
The third love element is that the team from the movie 'Finding Mr. Right,' led by Tang Wei and Wu Xiubo, will lead the run at the Zhengkai Marathon. They will also hold a movie premiere for 'Book of Love' at the finish line in Kaifeng. This close encounter between sports and entertainment is full of imagination. 2. Weather
It will be mostly cloudy during the day.The temperature will range from 9 to 20°C, with a southwest wind at 3-4 levels. It will feel quite cold in the morning, and the weather will be dry. Runners should remember to stay hydrated while running.
3. Race Information
5KM Route Adjustment: This year, the entire 5KM route will be set within the Inner Business Loop and will no longer detour to the Outer Business Loop. Runners in the 5KM mini-marathon should carefully check the route map to avoid running the wrong way. Please refer to the route map below and make sure not to get lost.
Half Marathon Cut-off Time: The cut-off time for the Zhengkai Half Marathon has been extended from 3 hours to 3 hours and 15 minutes. Participants in the half marathon should remember to return by 11:45. Please refer to the route map for the start and finish points.
