Choosing headphones depends on personal needs: wired, wireless, Bluetooth, etc. The sound quality of headphones is determined by the tuning skills of the engineer. Generally, over-ear headphones have better sound quality than in-ear ones due to larger space for components and better sealing with large leather ear cups.
So, for better sound quality, go for over-ear headphones.
The sound quality and price of headphones are proportional. So-called cost-effective products often compromise on features. However, there are still some truly cost-effective products on the market.

Physical buttons are concentrated on the right ear cup, including volume control, track navigation, play/pause, and call handling. The button design is reasonable and easy to operate with one hand.
The DACOM HF002 supports both wired and wireless output modes. Connecting it to a laptop with an audio cable provides better sound quality than a phone due to the laptop's higher power output.
With a 1200mAh large-capacity battery, it offers 85 hours of playback and up to 2400 hours of standby time!

The DACOM HF002 supports Bluetooth 5.0, enabling 24bit/192KHz lossless audio transmission. Compared to Bluetooth 4.2, it offers twice the transmission speed, four times the coverage, and eight times the data capacity, making it a highly efficient HIFI over-ear headphone suitable for calls, music, gaming, and movies.
The HF002 features dual dynamic drivers with four speakers, with each ear cup equipped with 15+40mm dual dynamic driver diaphragms, delivering powerful bass and high-resolution, smooth sound.
The DACOM HF002 is equipped with dual audio chips, combining Qualcomm's CSR and Texas Instruments' TI modules. Qualcomm's CSR is known for low power consumption, stable transmission, and excellent fidelity, while Texas Instruments' TI module is an audio amplification module with low impedance, making it easy to drive.
This dual-chip, four-speaker combination is usually found in headphones priced in the thousand-yuan range!
Of course, headphones in this price range are mostly tuned for popular music with prominent bass. For more refined sound quality, higher-end materials are needed.
Sound Quality Test
The following test tracks were played using a phone as the source and QQ Music as the player.
Test Track 1: Tsuna Awakens
This test track is an insert song from the Japanese anime 'Reborn!', a piece of pure music with a strong rhythm. Although only 1.39 minutes long, it is very exciting. The DACOM HF002's performance on this track is impressive, especially the deep but not overwhelming bass, and the dense bass drum beats feel like small punches to the heart. The trombone's rhythm is very immersive, making it a track that can be played on repeat.
Test Track 2: Pacific Rim
This is an insert song from the movie 'Pacific Rim 2'. Although the movie is not great, this is an undeniably exciting movie BGM. The opening electronic music gradually builds up, followed by drum beats that make the BGM increasingly intense and fast-paced, evoking a desire to pilot a mech. The DACOM HF002's performance on electronic music is decent but not as outstanding as its bass.
Test Track 3: Enchanting Piano
This is a very clean and refreshing piece of pure music with prominent bass. The DACOM HF002 handles the bass effortlessly, delivering full and deep sound without dragging, comparable to thousand-yuan HIFI headphones.
Test Track 4: Did It For The Fame
This song is performed by the black female singer Sabina Ddumba. I find the voices of black singers very distinctive; you can tell if a singer is black just by their voice.
Black singers' voices are often full of energy and power, especially in rap songs. The DACOM HF002's performance on this track is flawless, with excellent performance across high, mid, and low frequencies.
Test Track 5: Pu Shu - Orion
After several exciting tracks, let's listen to this soul-touching life song 'Orion' by Pu Shu, perfect for quiet nights.
Pu Shu is well-known for his pure 'youthful' image.
We traverse mountains and rivers, not to reach a distant place, but to return to where we started. The hardships and experiences are gentle nourishment for life.
We all hope to be someone who, after wandering for half a lifetime, returns still as a youth. The struggles of life have smoothed our edges, taught us to be tactful, and even made us lose our true selves, distancing us from our youthful selves.
Pu Shu hasn't grown up; you can feel from his songs that he is still an untainted 'youth', just like we once were!
The DACOM HF002's performance on this track is excellent. When I heard Pu Shu play the melodica, I felt like I found my lost 'youth'.
I think this is the charm of music.
