Running is a carnival for a group of people, but more often, it's a solitary journey. One person, a pair of headphones, a pair of running shoes, running towards the freedom of an individual carnival.
Headphones are essential for my running. I upgraded from wired to over-ear wireless Bluetooth headphones, and now to Bluetooth 4.1. The JEET AIR PLUS Bluetooth headphones have elevated my experience to Bluetooth 5.0. True wireless headphones are very popular nowadays. I haven't used those from Apple, Bose, or other brands, and I don't plan to. The JEET AIR PLUS is the new highlight of my life.
Unboxing
Experts might start by talking about the headphones, but for us women, opening the eco-friendly cardboard box and seeing the black plastic-wrapped box inside feels exquisite, like unwrapping a gift full of surprises. The small black box with a gold-embossed logo and simple information exudes mystery.
Opening the understated box lid, the charging case for the JEET headphones is nestled inside the movable card slot, a delicate little box, a pleasant surprise.
The charging case has a flip-top design. The top part is glossy like lacquer, while the bottom part is matte and non-slip. The lid has irregular protrusions, adding a dynamic feel.
There's a pull tab in the slot, making it easy to pull the charging case out. This small detail is commendable.
The back of the charging case has a physical button for factory reset and Bluetooth pairing. The bottom has a charging port with a TYPE-C charging cable, supporting fast charging. A 15-minute charge provides 2.5 hours of use. Very impressive.

The charging case has an indicator light inside. Green means fully charged, red means low battery.
The charging case is compact, fitting in the palm of your hand, weighing less than an ounce. The flip-top design allows for one-handed operation with a satisfying click. For men, it feels high-tech; for women, it might resemble earrings.
The headphones are magnetic, with clear left and right indicators. They make a clicking sound when placed in or taken out. If placed incorrectly, they won't fit and the lid won't close.
Each earbud weighs 6 grams. The material matches the charging case, with a glossy control panel featuring irregular diamond-like cuts. The larger cut surfaces are for tapping to control functions like activating the voice assistant or answering calls.
Both earbuds have Knowles microphones.
Two sets of ear tips are provided for different sizes. The ear tips are integrated and easy to replace.
I didn't need to change mine; the standard size fits me well.
JEET headphones have a large database of ear models, with comfort tests and blind tests to find the best design.
To wear, place the earbud in the ear canal and twist it back to secure it.
Bluetooth connection for JEET headphones
First-time Bluetooth pairing is quick. Open the charging case, press and hold the pairing button on the back until the indicator light flashes red, orange, and green. The headphones enter pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, and "JEET AIR PLUS" will appear in the list. Pair each earbud separately.
After successful pairing, opening the charging case will automatically connect the earbuds to the last connected device, with battery status displayed on the phone.
Opening the charging case turns on the earbuds. Placing them back in the case and closing the lid turns them off and starts charging.
The JEET AIR PLUS uses Bluetooth 5.0, a Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, LDS laser-engraved antenna, and long-range RF antenna technology, enhancing stability and connection distance.
Smart App
Installing the app on an Android phone allows for firmware updates. The app is continuously improving, with more features to come.
Both earbuds can independently play music and make calls, so you can wear just one while running.
The headphones have no buttons; control is via tapping the control panel.

Double-tap the left earbud to activate the voice assistant. You can then use voice commands to play music, open the camera, make calls, etc. Only the left earbud can activate the voice assistant. To ask about the weather, train tickets, or chat, you need an internet connection.

Stability
Before using true wireless headphones, I always worried they might fall out while running. But after using them, these worries were completely unnecessary.
The earbuds fit securely, with good noise isolation. I usually keep the volume low while running to hear external sounds for safety.
According to the introduction, the earbuds have undergone thousands of shake tests, with a drop rate of only 1%. The unique SR aviation material ear supports won the IDEA design award, ensuring they stay in place during intense movement.
I've never had them fall out while running. I even tried shaking my head vigorously, almost hitting the wall with my eyes closed, but the earbuds stayed secure.
Comfort
Initially, in-ear headphones can feel a bit tight, but over time, the lightweight design, anti-fall features, and baby-grade high-activity nano silicone material with shock-absorbing technology make the JEET AIR PLUS very comfortable to wear, even during long workouts.
Water resistance
My previous over-ear headphones would stop working in summer due to sweat. The JEET AIR PLUS has IPX5 water resistance, using imported materials to resist light rain, mist, and sweat. Sweat inside the ear is less likely to enter compared to over-ear or bone conduction headphones.
Battery life
The JEET AIR PLUS charging case takes 1.5 hours to fully charge, and the earbuds take less than an hour. The case can charge the earbuds 2.5 times. A full charge provides 10 hours of use, though continuous listening for 10 hours is unlikely. Listening for 4-5 hours during the day and watching videos at night, the battery lasts well into the next day, totaling over 30 hours.
Wearing one earbud while the other charges feels like they last forever.
The headphones support fast charging, providing 2.5 hours of use after a 15-minute charge. I tested a 5-minute charge, which lasted 40-50 minutes of running.
Bluetooth stability
From my experience, my previous Bluetooth 4.1 over-ear headphones would disconnect when I moved to another room. The JEET AIR PLUS maintains a stable connection within 15-20 meters.
The Knowles microphone and CVC noise reduction technology make calls clear, even in noisy environments.
Sound quality
The JEET AIR PLUS uses the latest Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, supporting APTX and AAC. With APTX lossless encoding, the sound quality is excellent. The full-range HIFI balanced armature driver and SR sealing ring technology, combined with CVC noise reduction, reduce ambient noise by nearly 95%, enhancing immersion.
I saved this for last because I only know if music sounds good or not. Running can be boring, so I listen to Rammstein for excitement. I need headphones but I'm not an audiophile.
I listened to "For the Love of God," Solang Wangmu's "Father," Faye Wong's "Century of Solitude," Black Panther's "No Place to Hide," BEYOND's "Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies," and my favorite Rammstein. Overall, the sound quality is good, with clear resolution, natural soundstage, and distinct high, mid, and low frequencies. Vocals are well-highlighted, though some songs have weak bass. Pop music sounds better.

The JEET AIR PLUS has a high aesthetic appeal, is lightweight and delicate, with integrated charging and storage, making it portable with long battery life. At a price of 399, it offers great value for its call quality and music quality, thanks to the Qualcomm QCC3020 chip usually found in thousand-yuan headphones. Its stability during exercise, water resistance, fast charging, and comfort are all plus points. Wearing it during commutes adds a touch of fashion, being low-key yet stylish.
The JEET AIR PLUS controls are somewhat simplistic, and the smart app has room for development. As the company says, "We believe technology can change the world of audio and video, and the future of digital entertainment."
The over-ear headphones that covered half my ear had their connecting wire break before the headphones themselves. Now, with the JEET AIR PLUS taking me into the world of true wireless 5.0, there's no going back.
