With the increasing popularity of marathons in recent years, more and more people are taking up running. However, for us nearsighted runners, wearing regular glasses while running can be problematic due to shaking, metal frames rubbing against the ears, and overall discomfort. So, I have long wanted to try sports glasses, and coincidentally, Codoon launched the Black MartenSP802 myopia sports glasses review event. I eagerly applied for the review and was fortunate to be selected.

Black Marten is a sports glasses manufacturer from Taiwan,founded in1981. From water sports glasses to land sports glasses, Black Marten has been around for 38years, adhering to a spirit of craftsmanship and relentless pursuit in the field of sports optics. They have obtained five patents in China. As the founder, Mu Yangkai, said,"All of Black Marten's technology is designed specifically for nearsighted athletes."

Product Structure

2. Unboxing and Product Display

The product comes in black packaging with a red productlogo in the center, making it highly recognizable. It also includes an introduction manual for Black Marten products. The glasses are stored in a complimentary glasses case.

Upon opening the glasses case, it contains a pair of sports glasses, a silicone strap for the temple tips, a microfiber pouch,a pair of SP-01 lenses, and a soft glasses cloth.

The SP802 is a fully DIY disassemblable myopia extreme sports glasses, featuring multiple interchangeable modular components from lenses to accessories, revolutionizing the traditional eyewear model. You can mix and match different colors according to personal preference, making it very cool!

The SP802 wrap-around frame is specifically designed for Asian facial features, made of elastic memory resin that does not deform under pressure,with open lens rings featuring anti-fog ventilation holes to effectively allowairflow,reducing water vapor condensation and preventing fog accumulation on the lenses. The adjustable elastic anti-slip strips at the end of the temple tips can be adjusted according to individual head circumference, providing a comfortable wearing experience. The nose pads can also be adjusted according to the height of the nose bridge.

Aspherical lenses provide a wide field of view and clear imaging.

Optical PC lenses,adapt flexibly to changes in environment, weather, and lighting. 

Lightweight material, overall 38 grams,with minimal pressure on the nose bridge, making it comfortable to wear.

3. Product Trial

Adjust the end of the temple tips according to the height of your ears and head circumference to ensure the glasses are in a comfortable position. My prescription is quite high, 600 degrees in both eyes,to better adapt during exercise, I wore them while walking to and from work every day, making minor adjustments to the temple tips and nose pads based on the wearing experience to find the most suitable fit. After a few days of adaptation, I was just in time for my Yima practical trial.

During the nearly4-hour run at Yima, I did not experience any dizziness despite my high 600-degree myopia. The glasses felt light, did not pinch my ears, did not slip off, and were overall very comfortable to wear.

4. Comprehensive Evaluation
