jeet mars loyal to sports, fight for the future

Preface

JEET MARS, the new sports earphones launched after JEET Air Plus, MARS.

MARS mainly has two meanings: one is Mars, and the other is the god of war in Roman mythology. The former gives a romantic image under the night sky, while the latter gives an inspiring athletic beauty.

Note: The god of war, son of Jupiter and Juno, husband of Bellona, lover of Vienna, he is the most important god of war worshipped by the Roman legions.

Unboxing and Appreciation

When I received the package, I was secretly wondering, could this be the earphones? After opening the package, seeing the JEET packaging box, I could confirm it was indeed JEET earphones.

JEET MARSBluetooth earphonesproduced by Xiao Jie Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. If I remember correctly, this is its third true wireless Bluetooth earphones. Looking at the design, it is destined to be different from the past.

The side of the packaging box indicates the main functions of the product: Qualcomm QCC3020 chip, supports aptX encoding, 8.6mm dynamic driver, supports fast charging, chargingfor 15 minutescan be used for 3 hours. Among them, the support for optical in-ear detection is a new feature I have seen for the first time, which is also one of the reasons why JEET earphones keep innovating.

MARS, I briefly analyzed the imagery of this name earlier. I believe there is no design without reason, and I hope my guess aligns with the designers of these earphones.

Product Details

Opening the packaging box, the first thing that catches the eye are two earphones, like the two brightest stars in the splendid galaxy. Isn't this the best imagery for MARS?

The surface of the earphones is also designed with star point patterns, with diamond-cut edges, sparkling like starlight.

Lifting the cosmic blueprint board reveals the product itself, with the charging case on the left and the manual on the right.

The product list of JEET MARS includes three sets of siliconeear tipsin small, medium, and large sizes, and a Type-C charging cable.

The charging case reminds me of the space capsules in interstellar movies, where humans rest and recharge, while the charging case is used to charge the earphones. The significance of both is so similar, and the design of the charging case, the internal pattern texture, and the light display all have a strong sense of technology. The Bluetooth icon button in the middle is the pairing button, and the LED indicator light is next to it. Holding it for more than 10 seconds can restore factory settings.

The earphones are made entirely of plastic, weighing about 7.2g each. The earphones have no buttons, and the surface adopts a star point pattern design, supporting touch operation.

The earphones are designed with two small protruding ears, and the outer ear caps can fully cover them to increase friction, making them less likely to fall off when worn in the ears, even during intense exercise.

Removing the ear caps reveals the craftsmanship of the earphones, with an integrated design and seamless conduction. The inside of the silicone ear tips is marked with size and model, such as the 'LM' marking inside the silicone ear cap in the picture, indicating it is a medium-sized left ear cap.

The earphones havea microphoneand a light-sensing opening. The light-sensing feature is an innovative function of these earphones. When the earphones are removed, the light-sensing opening detects light and pauses playback. Conversely, when the earphones are worn, blocking the light, playback resumes.

The sound outletcoveris not made of the common metal material. The earphones use an 8.6mm large dynamic driver unit with a three-layer composite high-polymer carbon diaphragm, designed by Xiao Jie Company's R&D lab into a tightly sealed front and rear sound cavity, enhancing the stereo effect. The tuning is slightly biased towards bass to enhance the rhythm for sports scenarios.

Although the sound is preset, it can be adjusted later through the JEET APP to choose the preferred music style.

JEET MARS supports Bluetooth 5.0 and uses the Qualcomm QCC302X chip, making Bluetooth connection very fast, almost instant.

User Experience

After pairing successfully with the phone, each time you use it, you only need to open the lid, and the earphones will automatically turn on. The indicator light on the surface of the earphones will flash white, indicating a successful connection with the phone, which is very fast.

When I first saw these earphones, I thought they were a bit large. As in-ear earphones, I was worried whether they would fit in my ears.

To increase the firmness of wearing, two protrusions were specially designed, as mentioned earlier. This indeed ensures they are not easy to fall off, but it also makes the ears hurt, especially in the first few days of use. Wearing them for a long time caused pain, but after a while, I got used to it and no longer felt pain.

It is worth mentioning that the first time wearing these earphones might be difficult due to unfamiliarity, requiring following the instructions in the manual: tilt, rotate, and straighten. Doing these three steps will secure the earphones.

Note:After analyzing, I realized the initial pain was due to not wearing the earphones correctly, causing pressure pain. Once I got used to wearing them correctly, the pain disappeared.

The surface of the earphones is a touch panel. By default, double-tapping the left earphone activates the phone's smart voice assistant, and double-tapping the right earphone controls music playback and pause. Additionally, when there is an incoming call, double-tapping either earphone can answer or hang up the call.

As mentioned earlier, the earphones use a light sensor design, an innovative feature not seen before. When the earphones are removed, playback pauses, and when worn again, playback resumes. What impressed me the most was that after taking the earphones out of the charging case and wearing them, they automatically resumed playback from where I last left off, providing a very good experience.

The smart APP settings interface allows adjusting the functions of the left and right earphones, sound styles, firmware upgrades, and more.

The sound quality of JEET earphones has always been inherited, with no noise or current sound interference. The first time I used them, I could particularly feel the distinct and rich sound quality (especially when listening to podcasts). Adjusting different sound effects in the APP also outputs different effects in real-time, demonstrating the performance and rendering power of JEET MARS in terms of sound quality.

After a month of listening experience, there were no issues, and I personally feel very satisfied.

Note:The 8.6mm large dynamic driver unit is a 'high-end player' in the diaphragm world; the three-layer composite high-polymer carbon diaphragm increases the craftsmanship difficulty by 30%, forming a wider new sound field and deeper bass, creating an immersive sports sound experience.

The earphones support IPX5 sports waterproofing, preventing sweat during exercise.

Summary

JEET MARS is the most impressive pair of JEET TWS earphones for me this year. I think the design is a big factor, and I am very interested in its design concept, which led to my personal analysis at the beginning of this article. Besides, its innovative design stands out. If you have experienced each generation of JEET earphones, you will find that they fit more securely, are less likely to fall off, and have well-tuned sound quality, along with some additional innovative features like the light sensor design, which pauses playback when the earphones are removed and resumes when worn again.

Advantages:

1. Good sealing, preventing ear canal pressure loss due to actions like opening the mouth or turning the head, which would suddenly change the sound quality.

2. Innovative light sensor design, pausing playback when the earphones are removed and resuming when worn again.

3. Good wearing stability, not falling off even during intense exercise.

Disadvantages:

The touch operation is realized by tapping with fingertips, which is not a good experience as the tapping sound is very loud in the ears. It is recommended to change it to a light touch operation.
