beautiful girl holds plank for 50 minutes dare to challenge

Hello, Codoon friends! Today, I'm going to talk aboutMy Brief History of Planking, seeingthismany of you runners might think I'm going to write about my study abroad experience, right? (There's a surprise at the end~)

NO,NO...NO! In our fitness circle, we call 'planking' 'building a bridge' because the shape resembles a person building a human bridge, and it rolls off the tongue better than 'planking.' So, this 'building a bridge' is not the same as 'Cambridge.'

My planking journey started with a reason, and that was...long long ago... about4,5years ago. First, I recall what Tony Leung said in 'Infernal Affairs': 'Actually... I'm a cop!' I could relate to that. At that time, I had to admit: Actually... I was a... lazybones!!!

Do you think being lazy is easy?

Do you think being lazy is without pain?

Actually, being lazy also involves suffering that ordinary people can't endure, such as: insomnia; unexplained headaches; and also: backaches, leg cramps, and struggling to climb5flights of stairs... This is not an advertisement; this is a true story that happened to me. The head of the household (giving him some face~~): If you don't exercise, you're going to have an accident.

Every time I saw my husband fall asleep instantly, snoring like a log, I was jealous because I always slept lightly, had many dreams, and 99% of them were nightmares. When nightmares came one after another, anyone would have a headache! Seeing someone next to me sleeping so soundly? You can imagine how big the gap in my heart was...

How big? As if the 'Mariana Trench' was looking up at 'Mount Everest,' Everest without its peak, but I was about to go crazy!

At that time, to seek psychological balance, I did many troublesome things. In men's words: You're bored, you're uninteresting, you're unreasonable! And they summarized the reason for me—sub-health leading to psychological imbalance!

'How about this, you join me in working out!' Atthat time I thought: Only a fool would go to the gym, pay money, and be a laborer! One fool in the house is enough. Unexpectedly... later, I also became this kind of 'fool,' and got 'addicted' to it!

'Foolishly' happy!

'Foolishly' obsessed!

'Foolishly' my mood became more and more cheerful! From an introverted and uninteresting girl, I turned into a super outgoing and happy big sister.

Back then, I followed videos to do ab workouts, from the first set to the second set, from watching videos for half an hour to doing it for an hour without the video, from the standard11moves, each move25times, to doing20moves in a row, each move50times. I persisted for more than a year. And you know what? Since I started exercising: my back stopped aching, my legs stopped hurting, I could climb15flights of stairs without panting, and I didn't need to spend money on calcium supplements! The happiest thing for me was at night—there were two 'logs' in the house, and my mom no longer had to worry about my insomnia.

Since I started exercising, my social circle expanded, and I met more and more people. It was then that I came into contact with Codoon. Through the CodoonAPP, I could accurately calculate my running volume, distance, route (you don't understand the feeling of being directionally challenged), and consumption. Later, I was very honored to become the leader of the 'Codoon Shijiazhuang Running Group.' We exercised together and enjoyed ourselves. It was then that I truly understood the ancient saying: It's better to enjoy together than to enjoy alone!

Later, one day, a membership consultant from the gym, who was a good friend of mine, asked me: There's a 'Plank King Challenge' event, do you want to join? I posted the news in the running group, and several members wanted to sign up with me, and more than a dozen very loving members wanted to cheer us on, forming a cheerleading squad! Both my husband and I passed the preliminaries and entered the finals. On the day of the finals, we marched into the arena with the Codoon running group's flag held high!

At the start of the competition, everyone was extremely excited. The arena was filled with participants and spectators, with cheers,DJmusic, and shouts of encouragement resounding. Everyone was excited to see each participant persist and hold on until they dropped out. My 'old man' held on for17minutes and said: I need to go to the bathroom. Next time, find a better excuse, okay?too young too simple!

After30minutes, the arena had noticeably quieted down,DJmusic had stopped, the cheerleaders were tired of cheering, and more than half of the spectators had left. Looking around, only5participants remained. The competition entered a stalemate, becoming quiet and monotonous, with the only sound being the timekeeper's announcements every minute.35minutes! My husband wiped my sweat and whispered: Only3people left. Two women and one man, silently competing...

I looked up and could see the lower half of the male competitor (don't get any ideas, he was wearing pants), he was so hot that he started asking his friends to take off his shoes and socks—referee, does this count as using 'biological weapons'? Next, I heard his voice, starting softly, then becoming more painful! Every time he made a strange sound, it drew laughter from the spectators, who were amused by the variety of his delicate yet piercing screams...

40minutes! With the timekeeper's announcement, Mr. Song (I only knew his name during the award ceremony) finally put his socks and shoes back on. Only two female warriors remained, the other being a girl8years younger than me. We continued to compete for about10minutes, and I finally stopped at50minutes43seconds, and Zhao stopped at50minutes45seconds. During the award ceremony, I was still holding the Codoon flag!

From starting to exercise tocompeting, the biggest gain from my journey was: I experienced unimaginable joy and newfound health. Now you know why I love Codoon and love exercising, right? Having Codoon friends all around, isn't it wonderful!
